EMS is growing and currently has a need for a Direct Sales Professional. To be successful in this position you must be self-motivated, organized, and have the perseverance to develop new prospects and customers while performing in a professional manner.

Skills and Specifications:

  • Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proven track record of capital equipment, CAD/Engineering software or similar sales
  • True hunting capabilities including: Major account development, Cold calling, Handling large, complex and competitive sales situations
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent telephone sales personality skills.
  • Should be expert in cloud based CRM software solutions.
  • Prominent organization and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Highly energetic and self-starter.
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
  • Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities.
  • Should be honest, assertive and systematic.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing and accomplishing a regional sales generation plan
  • Meeting or exceeding monthly or annual targets.
  • Calling to existing leads as well as developing new leads using true hunting skills and relationship building techniques.
  • Identify key contacts within existing and new prospects
  • Onsite visits to customers and prospects to sell EMS’s complete line of products and services
  • Close business is a timely manner while maintaining a professional attitude at all times.
  • Participating in trade shows, conferences, seminars and other sales and marketing events
  • Generate timely forecasts, presentations and reports as directed

Education and Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of SUCCESSFUL selling of high end equipment, software or similar products and services
  • Understanding of CAD, engineering, metrology or manufacturing processes
  • Relevant sales training (Sandler, Asher, etc)
  • Must be a US Citizen

Compensation: Compensation based on experience
