EMS settled into their new, larger headquarters last week and you never realize how much “stuff” you have until you move. After being in our last office for 7 years we forgot how many parts, prototypes, mock-up, etc we had laying around. Hundreds of parts that were 3D scanned and not needed back by our customers where everywhere. Boxes full of extra rapid prototype parts. All kinds of customer prototype mock-ups used in the product development cycle tucked away in drawers and shelves.
So besides the chance to “clean house” our new facility gives us much more room and a more convenience for our customers. For example we have a new drive in bay so we can facilitate 3D scanning automobiles and other large objects much easier. A state of the art rapid prototyping lab with more space and power capabilities. A larger 3D scanning lab with a new, custom made table for fixturing large and complex parts.
We are planning an open house on March 30th, 2011 so if you are in the area stop by and check out the latest in 3D scanning, rapid prototyping and product development. Visit www.ems-usa.com for more info.
